OUR SERVICES
Brain Injury Center

CONCUSSION EVALUATION AND SCREENING

This program is led by our dedicated concussion specialist and is systematically designed to carefully document the injury and comprehensively implement best practices to facilitate brain and functional recovery.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

We work with patients with brain injuries and their families throughout the course of recovery, from acute care and rehabilitation to resettlement. Many patients suffer from injury-related PTSD and our psychologists specialize in addressing this.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGY

We use Neuropsychological testing to determine how TBI is affecting patients functionality and how other factors (e.g. depression, anxiety, life stress) are impacting their cognition. This service is principally forensic in nature.

NEURO-OPTOMETRY AND VISION SERVICES

Our neuro-optometric physicians specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions adversely affecting the visual system. TBI routinely negatively affects vision and a large percentage of our patients utilize this service. We work closely with patients to ensure rehabilitation of any visual, perceptual, and related motor disorders.

COORDINATION WITH PHYSICAL THERAPY

Our TBI team works directly with our physical therapy team to provide individualized treatment plans to address the challenges and functional limitations associated with patient injuries. Based on our relationships and training programs with geographically distributed clinics, therapy is typically close to home for our patients.
